My Love
My love is the sun,
that lights our way,
with it's brilliant rays
that light your darkest days.
My love is the moon ,
in the still of the night,
while the stars are shinning,
so beautiful, and so bright.
As they flash and simmer,
with the twinkle in your eye,
When the daylight comes,
My love is your bluest sky.
My love is the rain drops,
pouring down through the mist, ........................
When we're together,
it's wonderful bliss.
I'm that Knight in shining armor,
and My Love is my Sword ,
I will stand and protect you ,
from any evil horde .
My love is the leaves,
that blow in the wind ,
as I tell you I love you ,
time and time again .
A Husband, a Father, a Lover ,
and a best friend am I,
and I promise you ................ ,
My Love is yours...... yours ,
until the day that I die .
